...Respondent/Complainant

For Petitioners:Mr.R.Anand

For Respondent:Mr.B.Nambi Selvan Additional Public Prosecutor PETITION FOR BAIL Under Sec.483 of BNSS PRAYER :- For Bail in Cr.No. 8 of 2026 on the file of the respondent police. ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioners/A3 and A4, who were arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 04.03.2026 for the offences punishable under Sections 194(3)

(i) of BNSS @ Sections 103(1), 61(2), 49 and 238 of BNS, 2023, in Crime No.08 of 2026 on the file of the respondent police, seek bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that due to a family dispute, the deceased left the matrimonial home and was living in her parental home. On 17.01.2026, at about 8:45 p.m., the deceased's mother found her daughter's dead body hanging in the bedroom, and the same was informed to the defacto complainant. Hence, the complaint.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners are innocent persons and they were falsely implicated in this case and they are no way connected in the above said incident. They have not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. He would further submit that the co-accused were already granted bail by this Court. The petitioners have been arrested and remanded to judicial custody on

04.03.2026. Hence, he prays to grant bail to the petitioners.

¶4The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent Police would submit that the investigation is pending and the offences are grave in nature. Hence, he strongly opposed to grant bail to the petitioners. However, they have no previous cases.

¶5This Court heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

¶6Considering the rival submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, nature of offence, and considering the fact that there was a family dispute between the parties and no previous case is pending against the petitioner and as the date of occurrence is 17.01.2026, by this time material part of the investigation might have been completed and also considering the fact that the co-accused were already granted bail by this Court and the period of incarceration undergone by the petitioners from

04.03.2026, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioners subject to the following conditions: [a] Accordingly, the petitioners are ordered to be released on bail on condition to execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) each with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Ramanathapuram, and on further conditions that: [b] the petitioners shall report before the respondent Police daily at
