O R D E R [Order of the Court was made by R.SUBRAMANIAN, J.] Mr.P.Thilakkumar, learned Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents.

¶2With the consent of both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final hearing at the admission stage itself.

¶3Prayer in this writ petition reads as follows: "For the reasons stated in accompanying affidavit, it is therefore prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue a Writ or Order or Direction, more in the nature of WRIT OF MANDAMUS to direct the Respondents to grant necessary permission and provide adequate Police Protection for conducting the Village Cultural Program on 05.05.2023 at about

07.00 P.M. to 11 P.M., as part of temple festival of Arulmighu Shri Shoolapidari Amman Temple function at Nerupugai, Sundarampatti Post, Gandharvakottai Taluk, Pudukkottai District, by considering the Petitioner's representation dated

25.04.2023 and pass such further or other orders as this Honourable Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of this case and thus render justice."

¶4There will be a direction to the respondents to consider the application of the petitioner dated 25.04.2023 and grant permission for Adal Padal Programme between 07.00 p.m. and 09.00 p.m., subject to the other usual conditions.

¶5The writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
