¶2The petitioner was working as Senior Deputy Manager and retired from service on 31.03.2007. The Government issued revised scale of pay and allowances for the Government employees with effect from 01.01.2006 through G.O.Ms.Nos.234 and 236, Finance (PC) Department, dated 01.06.2009. Therefore, the petitioner being in managerial cadre is seeking the benefits of G.O.Ms.No.63, Transport (D) Department, dated 05.02.2010.

¶3The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that in the similar issue, this Court passed an order in W.P(MD)No.1318 of 2010 dated 30.03.2023.

01.01.2006 until the date of retirement, the petitioner is entitled to the revision of pay and earned leave also. Therefore, this Court is directing the respondents to calculate the revision as per G.O.Ms.No.63, Transport

(D) Department, dated 05.02.2010 for the period from 01.01.2006 to

31.07.2009 and pay the difference within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. However, the said amount does not carry any interest.
