ORDER The above writ petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to issue patta in the names of Ganapathiammal, the petitioner and the petitioner's brother, Boopathi for a vacant site of East-West 70 feet North-South 19 ½ feet in S.No.698/1, new nathatham S.No.984 wire net fenced area, in Vilvamarathupatti Revenue Village, Ayan Boomaiapuram hemlet, Vilathikulam Taluk Tuticorin District, as per the representations dated 30.07.2020 and

17.08.2020 and thereby remove the placard, erected by the third respondent stating that the same land is Government Poramboke.

¶2It is informed by the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents that a suit in O.S.No.33 of 2020, on the file of the District Munsif Court, Vilathikulam, is pending. Therefore, the writ petition is not maintainable.

¶3It is seen that the suit in question which has been put forwarded by the respondents does not relate to the property in respect of which the petitioner now seeks patta.

¶4In view of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 30.07.2020 and 17.08.2020 and pass appropriate orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
