For Petitioners : Mr.P.Saravanakumar For R1 to R3 & : Mr.Veera Kathiravan R5 to R7 Additional Advocate General Assisted by Mr.P.Subbaraj, Special Government Pleader (in all petitions) COMMON ORDER This writ petitions have been filed for issuance of writ of mandamus directing the fourth respondent to issue property tax in respect of the the petitioners' property comprised in Town Survey Nos.403/6 and 403/2, Block 13, Illuppakudi Group Survey Ward No.3, situated at Kurichiyendal, Karaikudi Municipal Town, Karaikudi, Sivagangai District, based on the proceedings of the third respondent made in Moo.Mu.A3/11501/2018, dated 23.09.2019 within a stipulated time that may be fixed by this Court.

¶2It is informed that the fifth respondent had issued manual pattas contrary to the directions issued by the Sub Collector, Devakottai, on

¶3The learned Additional Advocate General would submit that the matter has now ceased off by the District Revenue Officer and they are in the process of issuing notices to the persons, to whom, the fifth respondent has issued such manual pattas and after hearing the parties, a proceeding to either confirm the pattas or cancel the pattas, if they do not have any documents would be undertaken.

¶4In the light of this assurance, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
