Case no.
WP(MD) 11491/2023

Judgment

O R D E R Heard the learned counsel on either side.

¶2The petitioner represents the Villagers of Sangamviduthi Village. The petitioner feels aggrieved by the incorporation of the name "Rangiyar" in the entire process. That led to the filing of the present writ petition.

¶3Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 8 submitted that a peace committee meeting was conducted and it was decided to conduct the event in the name of the villagers, without including the name "Rangiyar" or any other name. Hence, nothing survives for further adjudication in the present writ petition.

¶4Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition stands closed.
