The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under sections 120(b), 406, 408, 409, 420, 465, 467, 468, 471 and 477(A) r/w 109 IPC in Crime No.Not Known of 2023 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

¶2The case of the prosecution is that the Deputy Registrar of Co-operative Societies had given complaint against the petitioner based on the enquiry report submitted by the Enquiry Officer for the CRL OP(MD). No.8694 of 2023 irregularities committed in A1579 Sivakasi Co-opertative Stores Limited.

¶3Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

¶4It is reported that after the remission of the alleged loss to the Society, the surcharge proceedings have been dropped on

03.01.2018 and 27.07.2018 and the respective orders have also been annexed along with the petition.
