O R D E R This writ petition has been filed for the issue of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to construct a permanent check dam near Chokkanathan Puthur village between both the diversion in Deviyaru at Kalparavu dam near chokkanathan puthur village and ensure that there is a free flow of water without any artificial blocking of water.

¶2When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents submitted that there is no possibility of constructing a check dam since there is already a provision available for free flow of water. That apart, the blockage has already been removed and the free flow of water has also been ensured. Recording the above this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
