O R D E R This Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of a Mandamus seeking a direction to the respondents to measure the lands of the petitioner in Patta No.543, R.S.No.399 out of 5 acres 28 cents in the northern side as per the layout plan in 5th Block (Thakku) in Plots 12 in the northern side and as per layout in Plot No.11 Southern side the site measuring east west northern side 41 feet, southern side 41 feet and north south western side 14 feet 3 inches, eastern side 14 feet 3 inches and also the proportionate site left for common road measuring at 142 ½ sq.ft., in toto 726 ¾ sq.ft., with rights for using other roads in the layout in Avaniapuram Village, Madurai South Taluk, Madurai District. The petitioner has submitted representations on 21.09.2022 and 06.04.2023.

2.Heard Mr.T.R.Subramanian, learned Counsel for the petitioner and Ms.D.Farjana Ghousia, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents.

3.Let me not enter into a detailed discussion on facts, but the learned Special Government Pleader stated that notice had been issued that survey would be conducted on 12.06.2023, but owing to various circumstances, it could not be done.

4.A direction is issued to the respondents to conduct survey within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after following due procedure.

5.The Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
