Judgment
ORDER
Heard both sides.
¶2The petitioner seeks electricity service connection for the petition mentioned premises. Since objection was received from the fifth respondent, the petitioner's application had been put on hold. Challenging the stand of TANGEDCO, the present writ petition came to be filed.
¶3It is not in dispute that as on date the petitioner is enjoying decree granted in O.S.No.39 of 2009 on the file of District Munsif Court, Musiri on 30.11.2021. So long as the decree is in force, the petitioner will be entitled to service connection.
¶4TANGEDCO is directed to provide electricity service connection to the petition mentioned premises without any delay subject to the fulfilment of the other usual formalities. I make it clear that this arrangement would abide by any action that may be taken by the fifth respondent in accordance with law.
¶5This writ petition is allowed accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
