Mayilvaganan C v. The Deputy Registrar

O R D E R Heard the learned counsel on either side.

¶2The petitioner is presently working in the respondent society as salesman. He wants his date of birth to be corrected as 21.01.1966 instead of 13.06.1964 in the service book. The petitioner has given a representation in this regard.

¶3The petition mentioned representation shall be considered and finally disposed of by respondents 2 and 3 within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

¶4I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. It is entirely for the competent authority to consider if the application submitted by the petitioner can be entertained. The only direction that I have now given is that the application should be disposed of as per law. 3 W.P.(MD)NO.13953 OF 2023

¶5With this direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
