O R D E R This writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to grant permission and give necessary police protection for conducting Mahakumbabhishekam on 24.06.2023 and 25.06.2023 in connection with the Festival of Sri Bethannasamy, Sri Karuppasamy, Sri Veerachinnammal temple which is situated at Ethilodu Village, Nilakkottai Taluk, Dindigul District on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 14.06.2023.

¶2The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that there is rival group issue between the two groups of people. Even before that Peace Committee Meeting was conducted by Tahsildar, Nilakkottai, on 16.02.2021. It was adjourned to various dates, but there was no settlement between the parties, so it failed. Later, this petitioner has filed W.P(MD) No.3004 of 2021, seeking permission, that was also dismissed. Again, trouble arisen on 05.12.2022 between two groups of people, over which, the two First Information Reports have been registered in Crime Nos.19 of 2023 and 70 of 2023. Again Peace Committee Meeting was conducted on 16.02.2023, in which, it was resolved that no permission is granted to either side parties to perform the above said festival and it was also admitted by both side parties.

¶3It is seen that because of the appointment of temple "Poosari", the above said rivalry issue arisen between the parties. Suppressing the above said long history, this petition has been filed.

¶4Suppression of facts should not be entertained. The petitioner is directed to pay a cost of Rs.15,000/- before the DLSA, Dindigul. The DLSA, Dindigul, is directed to report the above said compliance to this Court.
