Case no.
WP(MD) 14607/2023

Judgment

ORDER Heard the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 5.

¶2The petitioner alleges that the sixth respondent who is Village Assistant is in possession of assets disproportionate to the known source of its income. He would also state that the Director of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption

(DAVC) had conducted an enquiry and called upon the disciplinary authority to take a call in the matter. Since no action has been taken on the petitioner's representation dated 06.03.2023, the present writ petition has been filed.

¶3It is not for this Court to give a direction to take disciplinary action against the sixth respondent. Now the first respondent is cognizance of the petitioner's complaint and the other relevant materials. It is for the first respondent to take a call in the matter.

¶4This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
