O R D E R This writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to issue Non Traceable Certificate based on the petitioner's representation dated 21.03.2023 and

23.06.2023 within a stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

¶2Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

¶3The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has given representations dated 21.03.2023 and

23.06.2023, before the respondent for missing of his Doc.No.285/1959 registered at the office of the Sub-Registrar, Srirengam, but no action was taken as on date and hence, he has also sent a representation to the respondents. He has also gave a paper publication in the Daily Thanthi Newspaper on 02.05.2023. However, there was no information.

¶4The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner's representations dated

21.03.2023 and 23.06.2023 are pending.

¶5Considering the above, the respondent police is directed to conduct enquiry and complete the same by following the circular issued by the Director General of Police within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Depending upon the outcome of the enquiry, the petitioner shall workout his remedy through appropriate proceedings.

¶6With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of.
