Ruban Samuvel v. The Inspector of Police

O R D E R This Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., seeking for quashment of FIR in Crime No.700 of 2021 pending on the file of the first respondent.

¶2Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the Police have completed the investigation and charge sheet is also filed and the same was taken on file as C.C.No.569 of 2022 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Padmanabhapuram.

¶3Since the very purpose for which the petitioner has already been defeated on account of filing of charge sheet, cause does not survive for the petitioner to continue this petition.

¶4Accordingly, the petition stands dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
