Judgment

ORDER Alleging wilful disobedience of the order passed by this Court in W.P.(MD).No.20092 of 2022 dated 29.09.2022, the Contempt Petition has been filed.

¶2When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that the order of this Court in W.P.(MD).No.20092 of 2022 dated 29.09.2022 is complied with, stating that the petitioner's name is included in the voter list and it is in Serial No.202. However, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the respondent is not allowing the petitioner to cast his vote.

¶3Therefore, this Court is of the view that casting of vote is not within the purview of the Writ Petition as well as the Contempt Petition. Since the petitioner's name is included in the voter list, the petitioner is entitled to be considered for casting his vote.

¶4Recording the same, this Contempt Petition is closed.
