Judgment
ORDER The petitioner claims that the lands in Survey Nos.97/1A, 1B, 1D situated at Kuyavankudi Village, belonged to his father and after his demise, he himself, his brothers and sisters are enjoying the said lands, however, the patta, which stood in his father's name, has wrongly been entered in the name of other persons. Therefore, he has submitted a representation dated 20.06.2023 to the 4th respondent/the Tahsildar, Ramanathapuram, requesting to rectify the same. Since the said representation has not been considered, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.
¶2Ms.D.Farjana Ghoushia, learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents, submits that the 4th respondent/the Tahsildar, Ramanathapuram, has verified and forwarded the same with his recommendation to the third respondent/the Revenue Divisional Officer, Ramanathapuram, on 21.07.2023.
¶3Considering that the petitioner's representation dated
20.06.2023 was already referred to the 3rd respondent by the 4th respondent on 21.07.2023, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the 3rd respondent/the Revenue Divisional Officer, Ramanathapuram, to take a decision and pass necessary orders within a period of 16 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
