Judgment
O R D E R This writ petition has been filed to direct the first and third respondents to grant police protection towards conducting daily poojas till Mandala Abishegam and Annathanam at Arulmighu Ayyanar Karaimel Alagar Temple at Palaiyapatti South, Poothalur Taluk, Thanjavur District by considering the petitioner's representation dated
07.07.2023 within the time limit stipulated by this Court.
¶2Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the official respondents submits that on the basis of the interim arrangement that was issued on 14.08.2023, the petitioner was permitted to conduct 48th day pooja and the matter has become infructuous.
3.At this juncture, the learned counsel for the private respondents submits that the issue involved in this petition is not resolved and if the petitioner is permitted to conduct pooja, during the next year also the very same problem may arise.
4.Since the prayer sought for by the petitioner has become infructuous, this Writ Petition cannot be kept pending only on the basis of the objection put forth by the private respondents expecting the very same issue be arisen in future.
5.Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, the parties are at liberty to make a fresh application, if any cause of action arises in future.
