¶1The Commissioner of Land Administration, O/o.The Commissionerate Land Administration, Ezhilagam, Chepauk, Chennai – 600005.

¶2The District Collector, Dindigul District, Dindigul.

¶3The Revenue Divisional Officer, Palani, Dindigul District.

¶4The Tahsildar, Vedasanthur Taluk, Dindigul District. ... Respondents in all WPs PRAYER in all WPs :- Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records in pursuance of impugned eviction notice dated 15.06.2026 passed by the 4th respondent through his proceedings in Na.Ka.No.1283/2021/A3, and quash the same and consequently direct the 4th respondent not to disturb the petitioners' physical possession of residential house at S.No.198, Malvaarpatti, Vedasanthur Taluk, Dindigul District till the disposal of the appeal pending before the 1st Respondent. For Petitioner( in all WPs) : Mr.B.Senthilkumar For Respondents : Mr.C.Jeganathan, Counsel for State COMMON ORDER (Order of the Court was made by N.SATHISH KUMAR, J.) The prayer in these writ petitions is to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records in pursuance of impugned eviction notice dated 15.06.2026 passed by the 4th respondent through his proceedings in Na.Ka.No.1283/2021/A3, and quash the same and consequently direct the 4th respondent not to disturb the petitioners' physical possession of residential house at S.No.198, Malvaarpatti, Vedasanthur Taluk, Dindigul District till the disposal of the appeals pending before the 1st respondent.

¶2It is the contention of the learned counsel for the petitioners that as against the rejection of the orders passed by the District Collector for issuance of patta, the petitioners have filed appeals before the 1st respondent and pending those appeals, the authorities are trying to evict them. Hence, these writ petitions.

¶3Learned counsel for State, on instructions, would submit that the encroachments in the subject survey number have already been removed and nothing survives in these writ petitions.

¶4In such a view of the matter, it is for the petitioners to work out their remedy in the pending appeals. Hence, no further orders are required to be passed.

¶5Accordingly, these Writ Petitions are closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. [N.S.K., J.] & [M.J.R., J.] Index : Yes / No
