Judgment

ORDER The petitioner, with a grievance that the patta, which stands in his name, was transferred in the name of respondents 5 to 7, without issuing any notice to him, submitted an application before the first respondent/the Revenue Divisional Officer, Sivakasi, on 09.05.2023, seeking to rectify the wrong transfer of patta. Since the said application has not been considered, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

¶2The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 submits that the enquiry is yet to be completed and therefore, the first respondent/the Revenue Divisional Officer, Sivakasi, requires some more time to dispose of the petitioner's application.

¶3Considering that the petitioner's application dated 09.05.2023 is pending enquiry, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the first respondent/the Revenue Divisional Officer, Sivakasi, to conclude the enquiry proceedings and pass necessary orders on the petitioner's application dated 09.05.2023, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
