¶2That apart, learned counsel for the Alagappa University also points out that pending writ appeals, there was round of selection for the same cadre of posts ie., from Assistant Registrar to Deputy Registrar and the appellant / petitioner had participated and was unsuccessful in that as well, but has not chosen to challenge the result of that selection.
