Judgment
ORDER Seeking to direct the respondents to take appropriate action on the petitioner's complaint dated 09.05.2018 either to trace the petitioner's original document which was lost on 09.05.2018 or to issue a "Non Traceable Certificate" in respect of the document in Document No.598/1988 on the file Palayamkottai District Registrar Office, dated 02.03.1988, this writ petition is filed.
¶2The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner's sale deed dated 02.03.1988 bearing Document No.598 of 1988 was misplaced and lost, for which the petitioner had given a complaint on 09.05.2018. Since the same was not considered, the petitioner is before this Court.
¶3The learned Government Advocate(crl.side) submitted that the Director General of Police had already issued Circular Memorandum, dated
01.04.2022 in this regard with respect to issuance of NOC, where the applicants have to produce certain documents. On such production of the documents, the respondent police will take necessary steps.

¶5The petitioner has given a complaint dated 09.05.2018. Since the same was given a long time ago, the petitioner is directed to give a fresh complaint before the respondent police and to produce all the necessary documents as required by the respondent police in terms of the Circular Memorandum, which is extracted below:
¶6On production of the above said documents as required in the Circular Memorandum extracted supra, the respondent police is directed to take necessary steps for issuance of Lost Document Report to the petitioner with respect to the document in Document No.598 of 1988 on the file of the Palayamkottai District Registrar Office, dated 02.03.1988.
¶7With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of.
