Judgment

O R D E R This writ petition has been filed seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 8 to take expedite action on the petition dated

13.03.2026 submitted by the petitioner against the appointment of the tenth respondent and dispose of the same within a time frame stipulated by this Court based on the petitioner's representation dated 13.03.2026.

¶2The petitioner herein is a third party and claiming to be an unemployed person aged about 46 years. As the tenth respondent appears to have secured employment as a Teacher in the ninth respondent – School, the petitioner got a doubt about the qualification possessed by the tenth respondent and accordingly, lodged a complaint against the tenth respondent. Pursuant thereto, the certificates possessed by the tenth respondent were got verified and were found to be genuine and accordingly, the Directorate of Government Examinations, Chennai, issued a genuineness report. It was thereafter, the petitioner alleging that the tenth respondent and his followers attacked the petitioner, the petitioner lodged a police complaint and made another representation dated 13.03.2026 to take action against the tenth respondent. As there was no action on the representation dated 13.03.2026 submitted by the petitioner, the petitioner has approached this Court by filing the present writ petition seeking the relief as noted above.

¶3This Court, after having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner at length and perused the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition and other materials available on record, is thoroughly convinced that the petitioner has no locus to challenge the appointment of the tenth respondent in whatsoever manner and therefore, equally, she is incompetent to make any complaint against the appointment of the tenth respondent as a Teacher in the ninth respondent – School. As a matter of fact, the initial complaint, that was made by the petitioner, was found to be false and the certificates possessed by the tenth respondent were found to be genuine. Having not satisfied with the same, the petitioner has made further attempts to dislodge the tenth respondent, though the petitioner is not having any interest in the matter. The averments made in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition also appear to be not in the personal interest of the petitioner, but more in the nature of public interest. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to entertain this writ petition.

¶4Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
