Judgment

ORDER This writ petition has been filed challenging the proceedings dated

22.06.2026, whereby the petitioner was relieved from the post of Counsellor by the second respondent .

¶2The main ground of challenge to the impugned proceeding is that the second respondent is not competent to issue the said proceeding as the petitioner was appointed as Counsellor by the third respondent herein and therefore, the second respondent has no competency to issue the impugned proceedings.

¶3From a perusal of the material on record, it is noticed that the impugned proceeding came to be issued pursuant to a letter dated

19.06.2026 issued by the third respondent. The said letter is not placed before this Court by the petitioner for the reasons best known to him. According to him, no such letter has been served upon him so far. However, a copy of the said letter is placed before this Court by Mr.C.Jeganathan, learned Counsel for Government and a perusal of the same would disclose that the third respondent herein, after having verified the records of the petitioner, found that the petitioner is not qualified to hold the post of Counsellor and mistakenly, he was appointed as Counselor to work in the second respondent Institute and therefore, his appointment was withdrawn by the third respondent through the impugned proceeding and the second respondent only relieved the petitioner on withdrawal of his services by the third respondent.

¶4Therefore, the petitioner cannot make out any grievance against the second respondent. If at all, the petitioner has got any grievance, it will be against the third respondent and the petitioner is always at liberty to take appropriate action against the third respondent for having withdrawn his services from the second respondent.

¶5In the light of the above, this Court does not see any merit in the writ petition and accordingly, the same is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
