This petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. seeking quashment of FIR in Crime No.05 of 2023, pending on the file of the Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Alankulam, Tenkasi District.

¶2When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submits that the respondent Police have completed the investigation and filed charge sheet on 10.04.2023 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Tenkasi in SPL.S.C.No.245 of 2023.

¶3Once investigation has already been completed and charge sheet is also filed, this petition which is filed seeking for quashment of FIR becomes infructuous. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous, however, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the charge sheet, in case, if, he is aggrieved. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
