Judgment

ORDER None appears for writ petitioner.

¶2The learned counsel who filed this writ petition had reported no instructions. The petitioner has not made any alternative arrangements.

¶3I went through the contents of the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition.

¶4The petitioner had presented the petition mentioned document for registration before the respondent. The respondent had returned the same. Certain reasons have been assigned. One of them is that one Rengaraj had offered his objections. The other reason is that the land stands in the joint names of more than one pattadhar. The registering authority therefore proposed to hold an enquiry in the matter and for that reason, the document was returned. Challenging the return memo, the present writ petition came to be filed.

¶5The petitioner has not arrayed Rengaraj as a party / respondent. The writ petition suffers from the vice of non-joinder of necessary party. The reason set out in the impugned memorandum is also sustainable in law.

¶6This writ petition stands dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
