Adaikaladoss. A v. The District Revenue Officer

ORDER This writ petition has been filed for issuance of writ of mandamus directing the respondents to deal with the representation made by the petitioner, wherein the petitioner is seeking for patta with respect to the subject property.

¶2The third respondent has filed a counter affidavit and it is stated in the counter that the representation made by the petitioner was considered and through proceedings dated 26.10.2021, the request made by the petitioner was also rejected by citing G.O.(Ms)No.1168, Revenue Department, dated

25.07.1989.

¶3The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has not received any such proceedings.

¶4In the light of the specific stand taken by the third respondent, the relief as sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted by this Court. However, there shall be a direction to the third respondent to despatch a copy of the proceedings in Na.Ka.No.2403/2021/A2 dated 26.10.2021 to the petitioner, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is left open to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.

¶5This writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
