O R D E R The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner reports no instruction.

¶2The prayer in the writ petition is two fold: a) To restore the petitioner's possession over the petition-mentioned land and b) To give adequate compensation for the demolition of their houses. 3 W.P.(MD)NO.13229 OF 2015

¶3When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that the land in question was classified as sarkar poramboke. The petitioners were in unauthorised occupation. Only after giving due notice, they were evicted. The petitioners have been given alternative accommodation by the Tamil Nadu Slum Clearance Board.

¶4In view of the statement made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, nothing survives for further adjudication. This writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
