O R D E R The petitioner, who is an Union Councilor for Ward No. 3, Uppiliyapuram Panchayat Union, Trichy District has filed this writ petition challenging the tender notification issued by the third respondent in his proceedings in Na.Ka.A6/1931/2022 dated

27.06.2023 on the ground that a Committee as contemplated under G.O.(Ms) No.81 of Rural Development and Panchayat raj (S.G.S.1) Department dated 13.06.2023 has not been constituted and without constituting the Committee, the works have been identified and tender applications have been invited.

2.In response to this writ petition, the third respondent has filed a detailed counter affidavit taking a specific stand that the committee has already been constituted as per the Government order in G.O.(Ms) No.81 of Rural Development and Panchayat raj (S.G.S. 1) Department dated 13.06.2023 and this Committee alone has identified the works, based on which, tender notification has been issued. Therefore, there is no need to interfere with the notification.

3.Recording the above submission, this writ petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
