O R D E R This Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. seeking for a direction to the respondent Police to complete the investigation in Crime No.14 of 2023 on the file of the respondent Police for the offences under Sections 417 and 376 of I.P.C.

¶2When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submits that the respondent Police have completed the investigation and filed charge sheet before the concerned Court.

¶3Since the very purpose for filing this petition had already been defeated on account of filing of the charge sheet, cause does not survive for the petitioner to continue this petition. Accordingly, the petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, the petitioner / defacto complainant is at liberty to approach the appropriate Court, in case, the petitioner is not satisfied with the investigation done by the Police.
