Judgment

ORDER The present writ petition has been filed by a Sewing Teacher seeking a mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 forthwith to make entries in the Service Register.

¶2According to the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the petitioner was originally working in the third respondent School between

19.04.2006 to 02.11.2009. From 03.11.2009, she was redeployed to the R.C Middle School at Kavalkinaru. Thereafter, she was redeployed to the fourth respondent School on 20.04.2017.

¶3According to the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner, the third respondent School had lost her Service Register and therefore, the entries made therein could not be utilized by the R.C School at Kavalkinaru or the fourth respondent School. Therefore, the present writ petition has been filed for issuance of a new Service Register after recording all the service particulars.

¶4The fourth respondent School has already made entries in the Service Register based upon the orders issued by Statutory Authorities. Thereafter, the fourth respondent has forwarded the papers to the District Educational Officer, Melur, who already countersigned the same on

07.12.2023. He had already forwarded the said Service Register to the first respondent herein for his counter signature. As on today, the Service Register of the writ petitioner is pending before the first respondent for his orders.

¶5In view of the above said facts, the first respondent viz, The District Educational Officer (Elementary), Madurai District is directed to peruse the Service Register, verify the details and thereafter, countersign the same within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and forward to the second respondent for passing further orders.

¶6With the above said observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
