Judgment

ORDER Seeking to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.07.2026 and direct the respondents 4 and 5 not to interfere in a civil dispute between the petitioners and the 6th respondent, this writ petition is filed.

¶2Since no adverse order is passed against the private respondent, notice to the private respondent is dispensed with.

¶3The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it is all a civil dispute between the petitioner and the 6th respondent. Earlier, the 6th respondent had come before this Court by filing a writ petition in W.P.Crl.(MD)No.3285 of 2026 seeking police protection. However, this Court was pleased to dismiss the same, directing the 6th respondent herein to work out his remedy before the appropriate Civil Court. Thereafter, he had lodged another complaint before the 3rd respondent which was forwarded to the 4th respondent. On receipt of the same, the 4th respondent is continuously harassing the petitioner by meddling in the civil dispute between the petitioner and the 6th respondent.

¶4The learned Government Advocate(crl.) submitted that already complaint and counter complaint has been received and C.S.R.Nos.607 & 608 have been issued and the same is pending for enquiry.

¶5Heard the learned counsels on either side and carefully perused the materials available on record.

¶6Since this Court has already passed an order directing the petitioner not to meddle with the civil dispute between the petitioner and the 6th respondent, it is made clear that the police should not meddle in civil disputes.

¶7With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of.
