This Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. seeking for quashment of FIR in Crime No.265 of 2023, dated 07.04.2023 registered for the offences under Sections 420, 294 (b), 323 and 506 (i) of I.P.C. against the petitioners.

¶2When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that FIR was closed and it has been referred as "Mistake of Fact" on 16.04.2023.

¶3Since the very purpose of filing this petition has already been fulfilled on account of closure report, thereby, no purpose remains to continue this petition. Therefore, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
