O R D E R The present writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the fifth respondents to provide Directorate of Town and Country Planning (DTCP) approval and consequently direct the second respondent consider petitioner's application building planning permission in respect of Plot No.13, comprised in Sriramnagar Survey No.432/1C, Narayanamalpuram Village, Sankar Nagar, Tirunelveli District.

¶2Heard the learned counsel for the parties. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

¶3The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner submitted an application seeking regularisation of the plots, which was also recommended by the Town and Country Planning Authority. However, despite the recommendation dated 30.07.2026, the same has not been implemented till date. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would further submit that the petitioner is ready to pay the requisite fees for regularisation to the local authority.

¶4In view of the above submissions, there shall be a direction to the respondent-Municipality to implement the recommendation dated 30.07.2026 and pass appropriate orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If necessary, the respondent-local authority shall receive the requisite formal application from the petitioner, upon payment of the prescribed fees and thereafter consider the same and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law.

¶5Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
