CONT P(MD) 1436/2022

Judgment

ORDER Contempt Petition filed under Section 11 of Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, to initiate contempt proceedings against the Contemnors/Respondents for their willful disobedience to the order of this Court in W.P.(MD).No.11674 of 2022 dated on 14.06.2022 and punish them under the Contempt of Court Act.

¶2Now the grievance of the petitioner is that even though he has given a complaint against nine persons, charge sheet has been filed against the three persons only before the trial Court.

¶3Seeking direction, the petitioner has filed W.P(MD) No.11674 of 2022 and it was ordered on 14.06.2022, directing the respondents to speed up the investigation and complete the same. But reading of the above said order does not indicate that other persons must also be brought to book.

¶4Since the accused have been charge sheeted before the trial Court, if the petitioner is still aggrieved that other persons must also be booked, he can workout his remedy before the concerned trial Court itself through the Additional Public Prosecutor. '

¶5With the above liberty, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
