O R D E R This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the third respondent to accept and take on file the Audit Reports of the petitioner Sangam relating to the financial years 2019-2020 to 2023-2024, in the light of G.O. (P). No.163, Commercial Taxes and Registration Department, dated 13.03.2026, passed by the first Respondent.
¶2Heard the learned counsel for the parties.
¶3By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. Since no adverse order is going to be passed, notice to the third respondent is dispensed with.
¶4The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the President of the Kovilpatti Nadar Uravinmurai Sangam, which is a society registered under the provisions of the Tamil Nadu Societies Registration Act. ¶6Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the third respondent, to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 04.04.2025 after conducting an enquiry and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law.
