O RDER
This Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. seeking for a direction to the respondent Police to file final report in Crime No.27 of 2023 pending on the file of the respondent Police as expeditiously as possible.
¶2The case in Crime No.27 of 2023 was filed only on
25.07.2023 before the respondent Police for the offences under Sections 406, 468, 471 and 120B of I.P.C. The allegation mentioned in the FIR is forgery of documents. In the said circumstances, even without giving breathing time to the Investigating Agency, the petitioner has filed the present petition for filing final report. This Court is not inclined to accept the petitioner's request. According to this Court, this is an abuse of process of law.
¶3Accordingly, this petition is dismissed with costs of a sum of Rs.1,000/- (Rupees One Thousand only) to the credit of Women Advocates Association, Madurai Bench of Madras High Court (Account No:-770357420, IFSC Code:- IDIB000H040, Indian Bank).
