For Petitioner : No appearance For Respondents : Mr.M.Siddhardhan Additional Government Pleader COMMON ORDER These writ petitions have been filed for a Mandamus, directing the respondent to grant patta in respect of the petitioner's lands situated at Kottaiyur, Sekkalaikottai, Karaikudi Taluk, Sivagangai District.

¶2When these writ petitions are taken up for hearing, there is no representation for the petitioner on 22.06.2023. Therefore, these cases were directed to be listed under the caption "For Dismissal". Even today, there is no representation for the petitioner.

¶3The learned Additional Government Pleader, by producing the proceedings of the Sub Collector, Devakottai, dated 15.10.2003 submits that so many irregularities have taken place in issuing pattas for the lands belonging to Kottaiyur Nattar and Illuppakudi Devasthanam and complaints in this regard have also been received and therefore, a direction was issued not to grant any patta.

¶4Since there is no representation for the petitioner, these writ petitions are dismissed for default. If there is any irregularity in granting patta for the lands situated at Kottaiyur, the respondent shall conclude the issue within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
