Judgment
O R D E R This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondents to consider 1 to 6 to consider and dispose of the representation dated 05.06.2026 of the Petitioner seeking the relief of opening the traditional pathway for the bona fide agricultural activities.
¶2Heard the learned counsel for the parties.
¶3By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. Since no adverse order is going to be passed, notice to the seventh respondent is dispensed with.
¶4The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner had submitted a representation dated 05.06.2026 requesting the respondents to restore and open the traditional pathway to enable access for carrying on bona fide agricultural activities. It is further submitted that, despite receipt of the said representation, the respondents have not passed any orders thereon. Aggrieved by the inaction on the part of the respondents, the petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition.
¶5The learned counsel further submitted that it would suffice if this Court issues a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 05.06.2026 and pass appropriate orders thereon within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
¶6Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 05.06.2026 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after providing an opportunity of hearing to the necessary parties including the seventh respondent. Such exercise shall be completed as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
