Judgment
ORDER The petitioner, with a grievance that his request for grant of patta has not been considered by the respondent, has filed this writ petition.
¶2Mr.P.T.Thiraviam, learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondent, submits that the petitioner seeks patta for the highways land. According to him, the petitioner has encroached upon the highways land and also put up a work shop in the highways land and now, he seeks patta for the said land.
¶3If the petitioner is not eligible for the patta, the respondent can reject the petitioner's application by assigning the reasons. However, no such order has been passed so far.
¶4Therefore, the respondent is directed to conduct an enquiry on the petitioner's application and take a decision in accordance with law within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
