ORDER The petitioner has filed this writ petition for a Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 not to issue patta in favour of 4th and 5th respondents, by considering his representations dated 12.09.2023 and 14.09.2023, for the punja land comprised in UDR Survey No. 779/3, Natham Survey No.902/1, measuring to an extent of 13.33 cents, situated at Thottiyapatti Panchayat, Ponnamaravathi Taluk, Pudukkottai District within a stipulated time.

¶2Ms.D.Farjana Ghoushia, learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice for respondents 1 and 2, on instructions, submits that the respondents 4 and 5 have submitted applications for transfer of patta. However, the Zonal Deputy Tahsildar, Ponnamaravathi, by his proceedings dated 25.09.2023, rejected their applications, by referring to the Civil Suit pending between the parties.

¶3In view of the said submission, this writ petition is closed. No costs.
