ORDER This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 28.06.2023 and to re-allot the women's dressing room situated near the Main Falls, Courtallam, to the petitioner, in accordance with the assurance contained in the proceedings in Na.Ka.No.40/2023/A dated 30.06.2023.

.Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side.

.By consent of the learned counsel appearing on either side, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is the lawful lessee of the women's dressing room situated near the Main Falls, Courtallam, under the control of the second respondent. The petitioner has been carrying on his business by regularly paying the lease amount fixed by the second respondent.

.The learned counsel further submitted that the second respondent, by proceedings in Na.Ka.No.40/2023/A dated 30.06.2023, had assured that, upon completion of the development works and after the reconstructed premises were handed over by the Tourism Department, the lease in respect of the women's dressing room would be re-allotted to the petitioner.

.Aggrieved by the inaction on the part of the respondents, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 28.06.2023 requesting the respondents to re-allot the women's dressing room in terms of the assurance contained in the proceedings dated 30.06.2023. Since the said representation has not been considered, the petitioner has approached this Court by filing the present Writ Petition.

.Per contra, the learned counsel appearing for the second respondent submitted that, immediately upon completion of the development work, the women's dressing room would be handed over to the petitioner in accordance with the assurance already given by the second respondent.

.Recording the said submission, the respondents are directed to re-allot and hand over the women's dressing room to the petitioner in terms of the proceedings in Na.Ka.No.40/2023/A dated 30.06.2023, immediately upon completion of the ongoing development work, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of two weeks from the date of completion of the project.

.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
