O RDER
This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking for a direction to the respondent Police to complete the investigation in Crime No.03 of 2022 and file a charge sheet within a time stipulated by this Court.
¶2It is submitted by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that even though the respondent Police have registered a case in Crime No.3 of 2022 for the offence punishable under Sections 406 and 420 IPC, on a complaint given by the petitioner, there is no substantial progress in the investigation.
¶3The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the official respondent submits that so far nine witnesses were examined and the respondent Police would complete the investigation as quickly as possible.
¶4Considering the above, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of directing the respondent Police to expedite the investigation and file the final report as quickly as possible not later than one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Index : Yes/No
