ORDER The present petition has been filed by the accused persons in crime No.96 of 2026, on the file of the second respondent police seeking a direction as against the trial Court to consider the bail application of the petitioners on the same day of surrender.

¶2Considering the averments in the petition, there shall be a direction to the learned Special Sessions Judge, Special Court for the exclusive trial of SC and ST, POA Act Cases, Pudukkottai, to consider the bail application of the petitioners on the same day of surrender in Crime No.96 of 2026, after giving due opportunity to the defacto complainant and permit the petitioners to offer single surety.

¶3The petitioners shall surrender before the concerned Court on or before 18.08.2026. With the above said observations, this Criminal Original Petition stands allowed.
