O R D E R
This petition has been filed to direct the Fast Track Court No.II (at Judicial Magistrate Level), Madurai, to expedite the trial in S.T.C.No. 313/2020 at earliest point of time.
¶2Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the grievance of the petitioner is that eventhough the case is of the year 2020, no progress has been made and the accused are dragging on the matter by not appearing before the Court and frequently filing petitions under Section 317 of Cr.P.C. He has also produced the B-diary extract.
¶3Heard the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side).
¶4Perusal of the B-Diary extract shows that because of the non-cooperation on the side of the accused, the matter is pending. Hence, there shall be a direction to the trial Court to expedite the trial in S.T.C.No.313/2020 and complete the same within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
¶5With this direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed.
