ORDER

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent Bank.

¶2The petitioner had availed jewel loan from the second respondent. She wants to redeem the same by returning the principal amount with interest. Since the petitioner's husband as well as her father-in-law had availed loan from the second respondent, it appears that the Bank had some reservations about permitting the petitioner to redeem the pledged jewels. That led to filing of this writ petition.

¶3When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Standing Counsel submitted that the Bank would permit the petitioner to redeem the jewels on payment of the amount borrowed together with interest.

¶4Recording the stand of the respondents, this writ petition is allowed. There shall be no order as to costs.
