O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking direction to issue direction to the 1st respondent not to harass the petitioner and his family members in the guise of enquiry on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner dated 01.10.2023.

¶2Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that due to some money dispute between the second respondent and the petitioner, a false complaint has been given against the petitioner. In this regard, on

12.08.2023, the first respondent has sent summon to the petitioner to appear before him on 15.08.2023 and 16.08.2023. After enquiry the complaint was closed. Again on 21.08.2023, 08.09.2023 and 19.09.2023, the first respondent has called the petitioner to attend enquiry and threatened him to return the money to the second respondent. The petitioner has given reply on 23.09.2023. Even after that, the first respondent is frequently calling the petitioner under the guise of enquiry. Hence this petition came to be filed.

¶3Learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) would submit that on the basis of the complaint given by one Anand Babu / second respondent, enquiry was undertaken. During the course of enquiry, this petitioner did not appear inspite of repeated summons. On that account, the second respondent gave a statement that he will workout the remedy through appropriate proceedings before the concerned Court. On the basis of the statement, the complaint has been closed.

¶4In view of the said submissions of the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side, the matter has become infructuous. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
