ORDER The writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representations dated

.07.2026 and 05.07.2026 and cancel the patta issued in the name of the private respondents in respect of the property situated in Survey No.439/9.

.Heard the arguments of Mr.A.Senthilkumar, learned counsel for the petitioner, and Mrs.K.Porkodi, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents 1 and 2. Since no adverse order is going to be passed against the private respondents, notice to them is dispensed with. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

.According to the petitioner, Manaivari Thorya Patta was issued in respect of the subject property in favour of the petitioner's wife, Sarathambal. After her death, the patta was changed in the names of her legal heirs, including the petitioner. When the petitioner attempted to change the patta in the name of his deceased son's wife, he encountered a problem, as the private respondents also claimed rights over the said property under Patta No.742. Hence, the petitioner submitted a representation before the 1st respondent seeking cancellation of the patta issued in the name of the private respondents and issuance of patta in the name of the petitioner and the other legal heirs of Sarathambal. Since the same has not been considered, the petitioner has approached this Court.

.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that the petitioner's representation will be considered in accordance with law.

.In view of the above submission, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 05.07.2026 and pass final orders on its own merits, after issuing necessary notice to the respondents 3 and 4 and other interested parties, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
