Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to direct the respondent to expedite the investigation in Crime No.1047 of 2022 dated

27.12.2022 and to file the Final Report within a stipulated time as may be fixed by this Court.

¶2Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent.

¶3The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent would submit that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent Police registered FIR in Crime No. 1047 of 2022 and that the investigation is almost completed. Hence, he seeks one month time to complete the investigation and file final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court.

¶4Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and file final report in Crime No. 1047 of 2022 before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

¶5With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
