Judgment

ORDER This petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to provide police protection to the petitioner to cultivate Nanja land in his possession in S.F.Nos.3/1 and 20/4 comprised in Patta No.60 Situated at melakulumani Village Srirangam Taluk Tiruchirappalli District.

2.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) would submit that on the basis of the complaint made by the petitioner herein, enquiry was undertaken in CSR No.714 of 2023. During the course of enquiry, the parties were advised to workout their remedy through appropriate civil process and the complaint was closed.

3.The said complaint was rightly closed by the respondent police herein by advising the parties to work out their remedy through appropriate civil process. It is clear finding that in respect of properties 1 and 3, the parties herein are the co-owners. One co-owner claiming police protection against another co-owner cannot be accepted. I find no reason to entertain this petition.
